10 Evatuating the Impact of Enterprise Skills in Researching, Developing Ideas and Producing a Brief

In the blog posts relating to research I applied the skills of teamwork, working independently and using interpersonal communications.
In the beginning to generate ideas for my product I worked in a small group because then I was able to ask their opinion of my initial ideas as soon as I thought of them. also I was able to more quickly discover weather or not my idea had already been done by another creator. Later on I worked individually to develop my idea further in primary and secondary research. Primary research consisted of me gathering a small group made up of my target market and asking them various questions about lengths of videos and the general format of the video as well as a basic schedule for the product to be released. This was effective as I now know the amount of material I require to fill the duration of the video, I will not waste time creating more content than the viewer will watch (I found the maximum watch time for most people in my focus group was twelve minuets) and I will insure I have enough to make the video interesting throughout.

After looking further into how my product will become a reality I completed an interview in order to complete blog post eight, this was useful to solidify my ideas for the product with someone of my target audience. I changed some ideas in response to my research so I was glad that in my interview I was able to check these changes to see if they were preferred to my original idea of only posting one review video however I changed this after my focus group to a short recommendation video followed by a more in depth review video.

I had to do further research into creative briefs in order to make mine look as professional as possible, this required me to use my initiative to select a suitable template to use for my creative brief using a template was the best way to insure I covered all of the points and aspects of the task. To an extent I also had to use problem solving skills as many of the templates and examples were not related to TV and film production so would not be suitable for me to use.
